Product description
Hemicellulose enzymes mainly detect the activity of xylanase, which is a group of enzymes that degrade xylan into oligosaccharides and xylose, widely used in brewing and feed industries. Hemicellulose enzymes degrade xylan into reducing oligosaccharides and monosaccharides under acidic conditions, and further react with 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid to produce a color reaction, with a characteristic absorption peak at 540nm. The depth of the color of the reaction liquid is proportional to the amount of reducing sugars produced by enzymatic hydrolysis. By measuring the increase in absorbance at 540nm of the reaction liquid, the activity of the enzyme can be calculated.
