Product description
Trehalase (EC 3.2.1.28) is widely present in bacteria, molds, and plants and animals. It can specifically hydrolyze trehalose to produce glucose for direct energy supply. Trehalase catalyzes the generation of glucose from trehalose, and glucose reacts with a specific color reagent under the action of glucose oxidase to form a colored substance. By detecting the amount of colored substance generated, the activity of trehalase can be determined.
