Product description
Xylanase primarily detects the activity of xylanase, which is a group of enzymes that degrade xylan into oligosaccharides and xylose, and is widely used in the brewing and feed industries. Soil hemicellulase can degrade xylan into reductive oligosaccharides and monosaccharides in an acidic environment, and further react with 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid under boiling water bath conditions to form a colored complex with a characteristic absorption peak at 540nm. The depth of the reaction liquid color is proportional to the amount of reducing sugars produced by enzyme hydrolysis. By measuring the increase rate of the absorbance value of the reaction liquid at 540nm, the enzyme activity can be calculated.
