Product description
Soil nitrite reductase is a key enzyme in the denitrification process, produced by soil denitrifying bacteria, and participates in the reduction reaction from nitrite to NO. Its activity reflects the transformation efficiency of nitrogen during biological degradation and provides a basis for the study of nitrogen transformation patterns. Soil nitrite reductase can reduce NO2- to NO, reducing the amount of NO2- involved in the diazotization reaction to form (pink) red compounds in the sample. The (pink) red substance has the maximum absorption peak at 540nm, and the activity of soil nitrite reductase is reflected by detecting the change in absorbance at 540nm.
