Product description
Soil N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase (NAG, EC 3.2.1.52) is an acidic hydrolase enzyme found in lysosomes, secreted by soil microorganisms, and its activity changes are closely related to certain pathological states of the organism. Soil N-acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase (S-NAG) decomposes 4-nitrophenyl-β-N-acetylglucosamine to produce p-nitrophenol (PNP), and the rate of increase of this product at 405nm is measured to calculate the activity of S-NAG.
