Product description
The activity of soil dehydrogenase can reflect the quantity of active microorganisms in the soil system and their degradation activity towards organic matter, thereby evaluating the degradation performance. The traditional method uses triphenyltetrazolium chloride (TTC) as the hydrogen acceptor for dehydrogenase, but the colored substance formed, formazin, is not water-soluble, making the operation troublesome and the sensitivity low. This kit provides a simple, sensitive, and rapid determination method, using modified nitro tetrazolium salt as the hydrogen acceptor, and the yellow formazin substance formed is water-soluble, with its absorbance measured at 460nm to obtain the activity of soil dehydrogenase.
