Product description
Cellulose is one of the important components of carbohydrates from plant residues entering the soil. Under the action of soil cellulase, cellulose can be hydrolyzed to produce cellobiose, glucose, and other reducing sugars, making cellulase an important enzyme in the carbon cycle. This kit uses the reaction of 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid with the final product of reducing sugars to form a brown-red substance, which has a characteristic absorption peak at 540nm, thereby obtaining the activity of soil cellulase.
