Product description
Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is the most fundamental carrier of energy transformation in organisms and the most direct source of energy within biological systems. Measuring ATP content and calculating energy charge can reflect the state of energy metabolism. Creatine kinase catalyzes the reaction of ATP and creatine to form phosphocreatine, which is detected using the phosphomolybdic acid colorimetric method. The product has a maximum absorption peak at 700nm after wavelength scanning, and the ATP content is calculated accordingly.
Additional Materials and Equipments Required
