Bio-activity

The ED50 as determined by its ability to induce MIP-1 alpha & TNF-alpha from mouse splenocytes was found to be 0.1µg/ml corresponding to a Specific Activity of 10,000,000IU/mg.

Storage

This lyophilized protein is stable for six to twelve months when stored desiccated at -20 centigrade to -70 centigrade. After aseptic reconstitution, this protein may be stored at 2 centigrade to 8 centigrade for one month or at -20 centigrade to -70 cent

Reconstitution

It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilized sCD40 in sterile 18MΩ-cm H2O not less than 100µg/ml, which can then be further diluted to other aqueous solutions.
