Product description
Glutamate dehydrogenase is widely distributed in living organisms and plays an important role in the assimilation of ammonia and the transformation into organic nitrogen compounds. Its coenzyme is NADPH or NADH, both of which exist in animals and plants, with NADPH-glutamate dehydrogenase (EC 1.4.1.4) being predominant in yeast. This kit provides a rapid and sensitive detection method; NADPH-glutamate dehydrogenase in the sample specifically acts on the substrate glutamate to produce NADPH and reacts with a color developer to form a yellow substance, which has a maximum absorption peak at 450nm, allowing for the determination of NADPH-GDH enzyme activity.
