Product description
NADH oxidase (NOX, EC 1.6.99.3) is widely present in animals, plants, microorganisms, and cultured cells, and can directly oxidize NADH to NAD in the presence of oxygen. This enzyme is not only involved in the regeneration of NAD but is also closely related to immune responses. NOX oxidizes NADH to NAD, and the enzyme activity is determined by measuring the decrease in NADH at 340nm.
Additional Materials and Equipments Required
UV spectrophotometer, 1mL quartz cuvette (optical path 1cm), low-temperature desktop centrifuge, water bath, pipette, mortar and pestle, ice, and distilled water.
