Product description
N-Acetyl-β-D-glucosaminidase (NAG, EC 3.2.1.52) is an acidic hydrolase in lysosomes, widely present in various tissues, body fluids, and cells. Changes in this enzyme's activity are closely related to certain pathological states of the body. NAG breaks down 4-nitrophenyl-β-N-acetylglucosamine to produce p-nitrophenol (PNP), and the increase rate of this product at 415nm is detected to calculate the NAG activity.
