Product description
Multifunction oxidase (MFO) is an important detoxification enzyme in organisms, which allows insects to adapt to changes in plants and reduce or avoid the toxicity of toxic secondary substances produced by plant-induced resistance to insects. Multifunction oxidase (MFO) catalyzes the production of p-nitrophenol from p-nitroanisole, which has a characteristic absorption peak at 405nm. By detecting the increase rate of light absorption at 405nm, the activity of MFO can be determined.
