mRNA purification kit (PIKIT010)

The mRNA purification kit is engineered for the rapid isolation of mRNA from the total RNA pool. The kit operates on the principle that the polyA tail present at the 3' end of most mRNA molecules can interact with oligo(dT) residues, which are fixed to the surface of magnetic beads. RNA species that do not possess a polyA tail are subsequently washed away. This kit is equipped with highly sensitive oligo(dT) magnetic beads capable of isolating up to 2 micrograms of mRNA per milligram of beads. By means of a brief incubation and washing process, mRNA can be efficiently purified from cell lysates or total RNA within a short timeframe. The purified mRNA is ready for immediate use in a variety of downstream applications without the need for ribosomal RNA depletion or DNase treatment. Such applications include RT-qPCR, high-throughput sequencing, mRNA library construction, solid-phase cDNA library synthesis, Northern blot analysis, rapid amplification of cDNA ends (RACE), serial analysis of gene expression (SAGE), and other molecular biology experiments.
