Malic acid (L-Malic acid) is an important component in the citric acid cycle, found in all living organisms. This assay kit provides a rapid and sensitive method for detecting malate, using malate dehydrogenase to catalyze the oxidation of malate, and generating a colored substance at 450nm by the reaction of NADH with a colorimetric reagent.
