Product description
The Fenton reaction is the most common chemical reaction for generating hydroxyl radicals, and the amount of H2O2 is directly proportional to the amount of OH· produced by the Fenton reaction. Hydroxyl radicals generated by the Fenton reaction react with salicylic acid, and the product has a special absorption at 510nm. Using a fixed reaction time method, the ability of the test sample to scavenge hydroxyl radicals is determined by the absorbance value at 510nm.
