Glutamine (Gln) is an abundant amino acid synthesized through the condensation reaction of glutamic acid and ammonia, and it is a non-essential amino acid. It plays an important role in protein synthesis, acid-base balance, and anabolic metabolism. This kit provides a rapid and sensitive method for detecting glutamine. By using glutamine dehydrogenase to convert glutamine to glutamic acid, and then glutamate dehydrogenase specifically acts on glutamic acid, the resulting substance reacts with a color developer to form a yellow substance with a maximum absorption peak at 450nm, thereby determining the content of glutamine (Gln).
