Product description
Glucose-1-phosphate (1PG/G1P) is produced during the phosphorolysis of glycogen and starch. This kit provides a simple, sensitive, and rapid method for determination: 1PG/G1P is reduced to NADPH by sequential action of phosphoglucomutase and glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase, and the content of 1PG/G1P in the sample can be calculated by detecting the increase of NADPH at 340nm.
Additional Materials and Equipments Required
UV-Vis spectrophotometer, 1mL quartz cuvette (light path 1cm), desktop centrifuge, pipette, mortar and pestle, ice, and distilled water.
