Product description
Fructose kinase (FK, EC 2.7.1.4) regulates the interconversion between sucrose and starch, and is involved in the regulation of plant metabolism and growth. Fructose kinase (FK) phosphorylates fructose to produce fructose-6-phosphate, which is further reduced to NADPH by a series of enzymes, detected by the increase in absorbance at 340nm to determine the enzyme activity.
