Product description
Cellulase is a multi-component enzyme system produced by microorganisms that can hydrolyze cellulose β-1,4-glucosidic bonds to produce glucose. The study of filter paper enzyme activity is of great significance in the research of cellulase. The reducing sugars produced by the hydrolysis of filter paper by filter paper enzyme can react with 3,5-dinitrosalicylic acid to form a red-brown amine compound with maximum light absorption at 540nm. Within a certain range, the depth of the color of the reaction liquid is proportional to the amount of reducing sugars, and the activity of filter paper enzyme can be determined and calculated.
