Product description
Ethanol is ubiquitous in nature, such as in food, fruit, alcohol, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, etc. This kit uses alcohol dehydrogenase to convert ethanol to acetaldehyde, accompanied by the generation of NADH. Since alcohol dehydrogenase favors the production rather than the decomposition of ethanol, this kit adds specific reagents to enable alcohol dehydrogenase to completely decompose ethanol, and further calculates the ethanol content in the sample by detecting the increase of NADH at 340nm.
