Product description
Dehydroascorbate reductase (DHAR, EC 1.8.5.1), also known as Glutathione Dehydrogenase (ascorbate), is an enzyme found in chloroplasts, mitochondria, and cytoplasm. It plays an important role in the AsA-GSH cycle and is crucial for maintaining the reductive capacity of ascorbate in cells. DHAR catalyzes the reduction of DHA by GSH to produce AsA and GSSG. This assay kit measures the enzyme activity by detecting the rate of AsA generation at 265nm.
Additional Materials and Equipments Required
