Cysteine (cysteine, Cys) is one of the amino acids that make up proteins, and the quantitative determination of cysteine is of great significance in nutrition and biochemistry research. This kit utilizes the reducing property of cysteine to reduce phosphomolybdic acid to phosphomolybdic acid blue, and by reading the absorbance at 710 nm, the content of cysteine (Cys) can be calculated.
