Product description
Caspase-3, also known as CPP32, Yama, or apopain, belongs to the CED-3 subfamily and is a key enzyme in the process of apoptosis. Caspase-3 breaks down the substrate Ac-DEVD-pNA to produce yellow p-nitroaniline (pNA), which has a maximum absorption peak at 405nm. The enzyme activity of Caspase-3 can be determined by measuring the rate of increase in absorbance.
