Product description
Ca2+ is an important signaling molecule within the cell, and the concentration of Ca2+ in the cytoplasm is maintained at a low level, primarily by the action of Ca2+-ATPase, which catalyzes the hydrolysis of ATP to produce ADP and inorganic phosphate. The enzyme activity is determined by measuring the amount of inorganic phosphate.
