Product description
Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is the most fundamental carrier of energy conversion in living organisms and the most direct source of energy within biological systems. Measuring ATP content and calculating energy charge can reflect the state of energy metabolism. Creatine kinase catalyzes the conversion of ATP and creatine into phosphocreatine, which is detected using the phosphomolybdate colorimetric method. The product has a maximum absorption peak at 700nm, from which the ATP content can be calculated.
