Product description
Adenosine triphosphate (ATP) is the most fundamental carrier of energy conversion in living organisms and the most direct source of energy within biological systems. Measuring ATP content and calculating energy charge can reflect the state of energy metabolism. ATP is hydrolyzed under the action of hexokinase and 6-phosphogluconate dehydrogenase, accompanied by the generation of NADPH. The ATP content is calculated by detecting the increase of NADPH at 340nm.
