Product description
Amylose is a polysaccharide chain of D-glucose units connected by α-(1,4) glycosidic bonds, and its content determination is of great significance for evaluating the nutritional value of food and investigating sugar metabolism in plants. The amylose forms a complex with iodine, and the absorbance is read at 620nm to determine the content of amylose in the sample.
